Open Water Diver
Through this course you will learn all the basic principles of diving working out safely in confined waters . Following simple theory lessons, you will learn the basics about the equipment and the environment and then move on to the fun part of the course, namely the exploration, always together with an instructor, in the magnificent sea bottoms of Ustica, within a maximum depth of 18 meters. Remember to bring a medical certificate; we will provide you everything you need to start to dive!
Who can participate (minimum age):
10 years for Junior course and 15 years for the Open Water Diver course.
Course objectives:
plan and dive.
Duration:
5 theory lessons and 8 lessons in water (4 in confined water and 4 in open water).
What we’ll do:
Theory lessons will take place in part directly in rubber dinghy and partly on land (unless you choose the version of the online course) with supplementary tools: you will be given a manual where you can study and analyse the concepts elaborated in class. Theory lessons will alternate with the dives where you can put into practice what you find in the manual. You will be followed by an instructor who will explain you the basics of diving: how to fit and wear your equipment, how to manage a dive up to become a talented autonomous scuba diver!
